Listening Mothers™ is a unique, 8-week research-based mindful evolution designed for mothers of babies 0-6 months old. The series explores mindful based stress reduction, enhances secure attachment between mother and child, and focuses on the importance of self-compassion and balance.
Nurturing physical recovery from birth, emotional adjustment to mothering, baby’s physical and emotional development, newborn care, partner relationships and building secure attachment. Perinatal Support Washington has been operating in WA state since 1987, and is one of the oldest Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder support chapters in the nation. They offer support groups and have been operating a toll-free telephone support line (“warm line”) since 1991.
Being a new mom is hard. Possibly the hardest thing you’ll ever have to do. If you feel anxious or depressed, or if something just doesn’t feel right, know that you’re not alone. The Day Program is an intensive outpatient mental health treatment program for new and expecting moms. Part of the Center for Perinatal Bonding and Support, the Day Program is led by psychiatrists and therapists who specialize in caring for new and expecting moms.
